The Kapiti Coast District Council wanted the Tennis Court Road Reserve playground to have a natural look. It needed to fit into its natural surroundings while being of quality, strength and durability to endure the temperamental coastal climate.
The park is used for family picnics and the Council also wanted the playground to be able suitable for a range of ages, ability and levels of coordination.
