Popular with vistiors and loved by locals, the beautiful Maungaraki Reserve needed an upgraded play area that could also serve the adjacent primary school. Functional and tough enough to handle high demands from energetic children, it also had to boast the highest safety standards, physical and developmental benefits, and seriously enticing fun.
Fun Solution
Working closely with Hutt Council designers, Playground Centre developed a tailored play space with a truly tropical theme. With slides, swings and incredible climbing opportunities, the equipment even has linking bridges allowing children to hop from one play âislandâ to the next.
Variety and versatility are key to this exceptional playground â accommodating a wide range of ages and abilities, while being ideal for a community hub in a growing area.
Along with proven and popular play pieces, Playground Centre customised unique features including wooden âwobbly postsâ, enhancing the natural look and feel while blending beautifully with the surrounding native bush and wildlife.
