“Collaboration was integral to creating this adventurous play space that integrates seamlessly into the stunning bayside vista â and the results are breathtaking, in more ways than one!”
The skyâs the limit for the adventurous
It wonât take much imagination to launch into adventure above Okoromai Bay at the new nature-inspired playground at Everard Reserve. Replacing an outdated facility, the new design is a thrilling mix of activity and imagination, with sheltered picnic areas to rest and enjoy the views.
Collaboration
Community needs were front and centre for Auckland Council, the final design maximising adventurous and imaginative play for children aged six to 12 years while preserving the stunning vistas enjoyed by neighbouring residents. The re-vamped play space also features recycled and repurposed materials in a nod to local heritage.
