Delaray is an award-winning residential development in Melbourne's south-east. A Villawood Properties project, it features fantastic facilities, great landscaped wetlands, spacious parklands, and a state-of-the-art Early Learning Centre. Another drawcard for young families is the multitude of spaces designed for exploration and imaginative play, with a choice of playgrounds and recreation areas. When it came to creating a playground for Delaray’s development stage 17B, Playground Centre worked with MDG Landscape Architects to provide customised equipment to match their vision for a bright, engaging ‘bee’ theme.

Fun Solution

The new playground is considered “the bee’s knees” by kids and adults alike! We provided a fantastic yellow and grey tube slide, tailor-made to follow the rocky slope of the landscape. Two beehive-designed trampolines have the place jumping – with in-ground safety and no concrete foundations necessary. Finally, everyone makes a bee-line for the bright yellow inclusive carousel, which is ideal for wheelchairs and has additional seating for carers, prams or just heaps of kids! The whole park has a fresh, unique energy that will only cement the development’s point of difference and growing reputation: Nothing compares to Delaray.
