Play Priorities
A leader in the industry, BIG4 has transformed the iconic caravan park into the modern-day holiday park experience, which delivers much more than a place to rest a weary head. With a network of more than 180 parks across Australia, they are known for family-friendly accommodation and facilities that promote fun and adventure. The BIG4 park in Denmark, Western Australia, is set in pristine surrounds a short stroll from the iconic Ocean Beach. Park owners wanted a new playground that was exciting and enticing but with challenges for all ages â including toddlers and older kids. They also wanted a space that highlighted the beautiful setting and beach atmosphere.
Fun Solution
The parkâs new all-ages playground couldnât suit its environment any better â with ocean-themed safety surfacing to symbolise sand, water and underwater creatures. Playground modules were custom-coloured to match, with boat and pirate-themed equipment completing the seaside vibe.
And there are endless of adventures for all. The playground features two towers, swings, a rope climbing frame, a pirate ship and a double flying fox.
The main âlighthouseâ tower has three slides (including curving tube slides) and is connected via a rope bridge to the amazing Eagles Nest climbing net with hanging baskets. A smaller tower designed for younger children includes a slide, climbing wall and tunnel. Its low platforms are perfect for imaginative and creative play activities.
Thereâs also fish and whale spring rockers, a stand-up timber see saw, and a flying saucer (basket swing) for inclusive (and multi-user) fun along with standard swings and a rope swing for two.
