Play Priorities
The Hendrie Street playground in Adelaide also known as âLivvis Placeâ was designed as a remembrance of a little girl who died 8 months after she was born with a disease called lymphangioma. The girlâs family then started a charity called âTouched by Oliviaâ in which they create inclusive playgrounds all around the world, so they can show how people with disabilities can live a normal life.
Fun Solution
The playground the family created at Hendrie Street is a custom-designed playground, designed to look like apple boxes. The playground combines timber structures and landscaping to create a striking playground for the local community. The playground has a very strong inclusive theme and has a wide range of fun and challenging activities for all age ranges including rope play, slides and climbing walls.
