Play Priorities

Kamo Marsh Landscape Architects teamed up with us at Playground Centre to create a destination-style playground for the students Rolleston School.

Inspired by the school’s motto: “Rolleston School, on the right track … Striving, Driving, Thriving!” our focus was on creating a visually appealing and versatile play space that encouraged kids to make the most of their time outdoors. A huge emphasis was placed on safe, functional and durable equipment that provided maximum physical and social developmental benefits.

Fun Solution

The landscaped play space features a mix of flat surfaces and elevated mounds, which allowed us to get creative with the choice and placement of equipment.

The result is an adventure-filled play experience that includes downhill slides, a 45 metre-long Flying Fox and a large Wobbly Wood Crona Climbing unit that features ladders, nets and strong wooden beams for the kids to climb over and balance on.
